All prices AUD. Prices are a guide and may vary based on size, materials, finish and complexity. Choices available from below styles of Japanese hidden tangs below only. Only the below specified steels and types will be used. Special requests may be considered.

Base Price

Small knives - from $500 - Up to 140mm edge length

Various shaped Petty, Nakiri, Utility and similar sizes.

Medium knives - from $600 - 145 mm to 190mm edge length

Standard Santoku, Large Petty, Standard Nakiri, Small Gyuto.

Large knives - from $700 - 195mm -240mm edge length

Gyuto, Sujihike.

Standard construction includes hand forged San Mai with Blue 2 carbon steel core. Handle is naturally seasoned, single piece timber.

Unless an upgraded cladding option is selected, standard cladding is mild steel or salvaged low-carbon steel, selected according to individual build.

• Apex Ultra (core steel only) + $50

• Pure copper shim + $100

• Pure nickel shim + $25

Finish options

• 600 - 800 grit satin finish is standard

• High grit black etch standard with nickel and copper inclusions

• Low grit Kasumi (starting level only) + $150

Final pricing is confirmed once style, materials and finish agreed upon. Maker reserves the right to respectfully decline commissions. Lead times will be communicated however current time of completion of order is approximately 90 days.
